Hiya all,

Obviously since I'm posting in the Introductions thread I'm a new user here.
And to top it off I'm just getting started with aquariums.
It's alot to learn and I'm hunting groups all over the internet and reading up so I jump in and don't drown!
LOL both physically and financially.

Good to be here and will be hitting ya all up for advice.

Welcome
Hopefully we can be helpful in getting you started. There is a lot to learn. A couple books that might be helpful (IMHO) in indentify types of fish nad general questions are Animal Planet Freshwater Aquariums (ISBN 079383760X) this covers the basics, and even though I've got a few years behind me I find this book a good source. Another book which is full of colorful pictures is Atlas of Freshwater Aquarium Fishes (ISBN 0866223851). This book is great, one because it's in most pet stores (which is helpful if your pet store can order certain fish) and two it covers everything from photographing your fish to breeding. This site is very helpful, I've used it many times for various fish related questions.
Again welcome great to have you in the school......(sorry bad fish pun  :D)

Hi Glassary2000 and welcome to the forums.  Feel free to ask us questions any time - I am sure one of the mods will be able to answer your questions.  Do you have any idea what kind of aquarium you would like to keep yet?
