Found this site a week or so ago and loved it from day one some great people and i've had some great help from whitedevil hooking me up on things I couldn't figure out on my own...want to know a little about my tank PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!

My Tank:

125 Gallon Long Freshwater, Brand Name (Oceanic)

Substrate: CaribSea African Cichlid Mix, Rift Lake Authentic

Tank Tempature: 78 - 80 DF

Ph 7.8 - 8.0

Decoration and Water Nutritional Control: 20 pounds of dead coral and 10 pounds of Texas Holey Rock for water conditioning and caving. Some small fake plants and two pieces of driftwood.

Filter: Aquarium Life support Systems Sump/Trickle Filter Model#P1200 Filter, w Media. 9/16` tube & 1/2`EIM Return. Media includes two layers of filter floss, two water polishing pads, a first and secondary sponge, chamber with bio-balls two airstones one under bio-balls for proper gas exchange and one in the sump pump side to keep calcium build-up broke apart, one large carbon sock, one large bag of ceramic beads and six o-cello sponges with homemade filter sponge on return pump.

Penguin Bio-Wheel 350 HOB: To pickup anything else floating around.

Scientific Name(s): Cryptoheros nigrofasciatus, Archocentrus nigrofasciatus, Cichlasoma nigrofasciatum, Heros nigrofasciatus.

Scientific Name(s): Archocentrus spilurum.

Common Name: 1 Tiger Oscar
Scientific Name(s): Astronotus ocellatus, Acara ocellatus, Cychla rubroocellata, Hydrogonus ocellatus, Lobotes ocellatus.

Common Name: 1 Plecostomus
Scientific Name(s): Pterygoplichthys pardalis, Acipenser plecostomus, Hypostomus plecostomus, Hypostomus punctatus, Liposarcus multiradiatus, Liposarcus pardalis, Plecostomus plecostomus.

Common Name: 1 Firemouth Cichlid
Scientific Name(s): Thorichthys meeki.

Common Name: 1 Blood Parrot
Scientific Name(s): N/A

Very nice. I tried to get a jaguar cichlid but the wife said no.( its future home was gonna be the guppy tank for a while)
